Our verdict

Best for e-commerce sellers: a browser studio that enhances and cleans footage and turns a product photo into a social selling video — with an enhancer that is one tool in a marketing kit, not a restoration lab.

What Vmake really costs

Vmake's own pricing page gives an approximate yield for its credits: Plus (1,000 credits for $9.99) is estimated at up to about 6 generated videos a month, and Pro (4,500 credits for $29.99) at up to about 30. That works out near $1.67 per generated video on Plus and about $1.00 on Pro — but generation is only one draw on the pool, and enhancer/remover tools are metered by daily file limits rather than a clean per-unit rate, so no honest per-minute card exists for the enhancement side.

Video-yield estimates are Vmake's own, from its pricing page as reported in Nov 2026 checks; actual yield varies by model and length. Enhancement tools are limited by daily file counts per plan, not by a published per-minute rate.

What is Vmake?

Vmake — now rebranded Vmake Labs — began as an AI video enhancer and cleanup toolkit and has grown into a social-commerce video studio. The cleanup side is still there and is why it sits in the enhancer category: quality enhancement and upscaling, watermark and text removal, background removal, noise reduction and auto captions. Around it, Vmake now generates the videos themselves, turning a single product photo and some selling points into UGC-style promotional clips using a roster of current generation models.

That pivot matters for expectations. A seller with shaky supplier footage and no video skills is Vmake's ideal user: enhance the footage, strip the background, caption it, or skip footage entirely and generate a product video from a photo. A film archivist is not its user at all. Pricing follows the studio model — a daily-refreshed free tier for testing, then two credit plans whose daily file limits on the core tools matter as much as the credit totals.

How Vmake works

  1. 1Create a free account — you get 20 credits a day, valid for that day only, so plan a real test rather than a idle click-through.
  2. 2Start with cleanup or creation: upload footage to the enhancer/removers, or upload a product photo to generate a selling video.
  3. 3For enhancement, run the quality enhancer on your worst clip and compare before/after at full size.
  4. 4Add auto captions and fix the text — captions are where social viewers actually read your selling points.
  5. 5Export: free exports are 720p and watermarked, so treat them as approvals drafts.
  6. 6Upgrade to Plus ($9.99/month) for watermark-free 1080p exports and commercial use when a video is ready to publish.

Core features

AI quality enhancer and upscaler

Sharpen and upscale existing footage — the tool Vmake was first known for — with higher daily file allowances on paid plans (10/day on Plus, 50/day on Pro for core enhancer use).

Watermark and text remover

Remove watermarks, logos and burned-in text from videos on paid plans. A cleanup tool for your own footage — distinct from the watermark Vmake puts on its own free exports.

Background remover

Remove or replace video backgrounds without a green screen, at 10 videos/day on Plus and 50/day on Pro.

Product photo to video

Generate UGC-style product showcase and ad videos from a single image plus selling points, using current generation models available on paid plans.

Auto captions and noise reducer

Caption generation with multiple styles and audio noise reduction — the finishing touches social footage needs.

AI thumbnails and avatar videos

Thumbnail generation and avatar-style talking videos round out the seller toolkit.

The free plan — the full truth

Vmake's free tier is clearly specified on its own pricing page, which is to its credit: 20 credits per day, valid for one day only, with limited feature access, limited AI models and — in the page's own words — 'watermark included'. Video export caps at 720p, and several tools (watermark remover, background remover) are simply not available free. The daily refresh makes it a decent ongoing test bench: come back tomorrow and test another tool.

What the free tier is not is a publishing route. Watermarked 720p output cannot front a product listing or an ad, and commercial use is listed as a paid-plan inclusion, not a free one. Read the free plan as Vmake intends it: a fitting room. Plus at $9.99/month is where shoppable output starts — 1,000 credits a month, 1080p watermark-free export and commercial use included.

  • • Free exports carry a watermark and cap at 720p
  • • Free credits (20/day) expire after one day — no saving up
  • • Free tier gets limited models and no remover tools
  • • Commercial use is a paid-plan inclusion only
  • • Paid plans still cap core tools by files per day (10 on Plus, 50 on Pro)

Not ideal for

  • ✕ Archival or restoration work on long footage

For pure enhancement depth, look at the desktop tools in this batch — UniFab Video Upscaler AI and HitPaw VikPea — or Topaz Video AI at the professional end; all out-enhance a browser studio on difficult footage. For the product-video generation side, Creatify and Arcads are the UGC-ad specialists in this catalogue. CapCut is the free alternative for manual cleanup and captions if you have editing time to trade for money. Vmake's niche is doing a bit of everything, fast, for sellers.

Topaz Video AI is desktop software that upscales, sharpens, restores and frame-interpolates video using local AI models. It is used by creators and archivists to rescue old or low-resolution footage and to deliver higher-resolution masters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Vmake free?

Yes — a free tier with 20 credits a day (valid one day), limited models, 720p exports and a watermark on output. Plus is $9.99/month; Pro is $29.99/month.

Does Vmake put a watermark on videos?

On free-plan output, yes — its pricing page says 'watermark included' for the free tier. Paid plans export watermark-free. Separately, Vmake sells a watermark remover tool for cleaning up your own footage on paid plans.

Can I use Vmake for my online store?

Yes — that is its main use case. Commercial use is included on Plus and Pro, and its generators turn a product photo into a social selling video.

How long do Vmake credits last?

Free credits last one day. Paid-plan credits are valid for 30 days, per the pricing page — use them within the month or lose them.

Vmake or a desktop enhancer?

Vmake for speed, breadth and browser convenience on short social clips. A desktop enhancer (UniFab, HitPaw, Topaz) for long or precious footage where enhancement quality is the whole point.
