Our verdict
Best for creators who restyle real footage — especially into anime — and animate characters, with many hosted models spending from one token balance.

What GoEnhance really costs
GoEnhance spends tokens at rates that differ by feature, model and duration, and its public pages do not publish a per-second or per-video token table we could derive finished-video prices from. So there are no cost cards here: inventing a per-clip price from a token balance without the per-task rates would be exactly the kind of maths this section exists to avoid.
What can be verified is the price of the tokens themselves. A one-time pack sells 500 tokens for $10 — $0.02 per token — and pack tokens never expire. Subscription tokens are cheaper per unit but reset monthly, and Relax Mode changes the equation entirely for Standard, Pro and Mega subscribers: on supported features, generations cost no tokens at all, only queue time. For patient, high-volume restyling work, that makes the effective marginal cost of a generation zero — the real price is the subscription and your time in the queue.
Token pack price ($10 for 500 tokens, no expiry) is from GoEnhance's official pricing page, checked Nov 2026. Per-task token rates are shown in the app at generation time and are not published on the public pages we could read.
What is GoEnhance?
GoEnhance made its reputation with a single striking trick — turning real video into anime and other styles while keeping the subject consistent — and has since widened into an all-in-one AI video studio. The current platform covers video-to-video restyling, text and image-to-video generation, character animation and consistent-character video, AI avatars from a photo, lip-sync and face swap, plus a parallel set of image tools. Generation runs through hosted models — its homepage lists Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0 and Wan among others — so the studio doubles as a model aggregator for creators who would rather rent several engines through one token balance than subscribe to each.
The business model is tokens. A free tier includes some tokens that work on every feature; paid plans (Basic, Standard, Pro, Mega) raise the token allowance, generation speed and concurrent-job limits. Two policies deserve attention before money changes hands, both stated plainly by GoEnhance itself: commercial use is permitted only on Standard, Pro and Mega — free and Basic output is personal-use only — and refunds are not offered, because generation costs are incurred up front. Its happier policy is Relax Mode: on Standard and above, supported features can generate without spending tokens at all, queued behind paying work.
How GoEnhance works
- 1Sign up free — the free tier's tokens work on every feature, so test the exact tool you care about (for most people, video-to-anime) on your own footage.
- 2Choose a workflow: video-to-video for restyling, text or image-to-video for generation, character animation, avatar, lip-sync or face swap.
- 3Pick the model and settings, watching the token cost — Fast Mode spends tokens for immediate GPU access, while Relax Mode (Standard and above) is token-free but queued on supported features.
- 4Generate and judge consistency honestly: check faces and hands across the whole clip, not just the first second, before spending more tokens on variations.
- 5If the work is for a client or a monetised channel, make sure you are on Standard or above — commercial rights do not come with Basic.
- 6Export at up to 4K and 60fps where the feature supports it, per GoEnhance's description of its video-to-anime output.
Core features
Video-to-video restyling (video-to-anime)
The signature feature: convert real footage into anime and other styles with, in GoEnhance's words, exceptional consistency and output up to 4K at 60fps. Dancers, musicians and cosplayers restyling performance footage are the core audience.
Text and image-to-video via hosted models
Generate clips through multiple hosted engines (the homepage lists Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0, Wan and more) from one balance — useful when a shot wants a specific model's look without a separate subscription.
Character animation and consistent characters
Animate a character and keep it consistent across a video, plus a dedicated consistent-character video tool — the features that move GoEnhance beyond one-off effects for creators building recurring characters.
Avatar, lip-sync and face swap
Create a lifelike avatar from a single photo, sync lips in a video to new audio, swap faces in video, and replace a person in a video entirely with its Animate tool.
Fast Mode and Relax Mode
Fast Mode spends tokens for immediate GPU access. Relax Mode spends none and allows unlimited generations each month on supported features for Standard, Pro and Mega subscribers, at queued, slower speeds — effectively an unlimited tier inside a token product.
Token packs
A one-time purchase of 500 tokens for $10, and tokens from packs do not expire — a sensible shape for occasional users who would rather not hold a subscription for a twice-a-year job.
The free plan — the full truth
GoEnhance's free tier is genuinely try-everything: its pricing page says signing up free gets you a small amount of tokens and lets you try every tool before subscribing, and its FAQ repeats that the free tokens can be used for all features on the platform. That makes it a proper evaluation tier — you can run your own footage through video-to-anime and see the consistency for yourself rather than trusting samples.
The hard line on free is not output quality, it is licensing. GoEnhance's own pricing FAQ states that you keep rights to your creations for personal use, but commercial usage is permitted only for Standard, Pro and Mega subscribers, and that free users and Basic subscribers are limited to personal use only. So a free or Basic video that performs well cannot simply be kept as a client asset or a monetised post — you would need to be on Standard when it was made, and buyers should not assume retroactive cover. Whether free-tier output carries a watermark is not stated on the public pages we read, so this review records it as unverified rather than guessing. The other published hard line: no refunds, waived at sign-up, which is exactly why the free tokens exist — use them first.
- • Free tier is a small token allowance (exact count is set in-app; the pricing page does not publish it)
- • Free and Basic output is personal use only — commercial use starts at Standard (official pricing FAQ)
- • No refunds on subscriptions, per GoEnhance's stated policy
- • Free-plan watermark status is not stated on GoEnhance's public pages
- • Relax Mode (token-free generation) requires Standard or above and covers only supported features
GoEnhance pricing
Pricing checked Nov 2026 on GoEnhance's official pricing page. That page confirms the four plan names (Basic, Standard, Pro, Mega), monthly or yearly billing, monthly token allowances, the free tier, and a JSON-LD product price of $9.99 — but renders the per-plan price table as images our reader could not extract, so the only per-plan figure we state as verified is the $9.99 entry (Basic). The plan ladder widely reported elsewhere — Basic $9.99 with 600 tokens, Standard $24.99 with 1,600, Pro $49.99 with 3,500, Mega $99.99 with 8,000, with yearly billing cheaper — matches that entry point, but we have not tabled those figures as our own verified data; confirm your tier's price and tokens in the app before paying.
Pros
- + Video-to-anime restyling with strong consistency is a genuine specialism, not a side feature
- + Free tokens work on every feature, so evaluation uses the real product
- + Relax Mode makes supported features effectively unlimited for Standard+ subscribers
- + Multiple frontier models under one balance instead of several subscriptions
- + Non-expiring token packs suit occasional users
Cons
- − Commercial use is barred on free and Basic — a trap for creators who upgrade late
- − No refunds, stated bluntly in its own policy
- − Per-plan prices and token rates are not fully readable on the public pricing page
- − Face-swap and person-replacement tools demand care with consent and likeness rights
Best for
- ✓ Dancers, musicians and cosplayers restyling performance footage into anime and other looks
- ✓ Creators building recurring animated characters
- ✓ Model-hoppers who want Veo, Kling, Seedance and others under one balance
- ✓ Patient high-volume users who can exploit Relax Mode on Standard or above
Not ideal for
- ✕ Businesses planning to publish free or Basic output commercially
- ✕ Anyone uncomfortable paying for a product with a no-refund pricing policy before testing the free tokens
- ✕ Presenter-led marketing video (avatar studios fit better)
GoEnhance alternatives
See all alternatives →Kaiber is the closest catalogue neighbour for artistic video transformation and music-driven visuals, with a more creator-community feel. Runway covers the restyle-and-edit ground professionally — video-to-video transformation plus a real editing suite — at pro prices. DomoAI, new in this catalogue expansion, also leans into anime-style conversion and character work. GoEnhance's edge over all three is the combination of its restyling depth with a multi-model balance and Relax Mode's token-free generation for subscribers.
Kaiber generates stylised, artistic video from images, text and music, and became popular for music videos and artist visuals. Its look leans creative and experimental rather than realistic, which suits musicians and visual artists.
Renderforest offers a large library of video templates — logo intros, promos, slideshows and explainers — rendered in the cloud. It has been a common first tool for small businesses making simple branded videos without editing skills.
Steve AI converts text into live-style or animated videos, with characters and templates aimed at training, explainer and marketing content. Its animation route suits creators making cartoon-style educational videos without drawing skills.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is GoEnhance free?
There is a free tier with a small amount of tokens that can be used on all features, per GoEnhance's pricing page — enough to test the tools on your own footage. Paid plans add larger token allowances, faster generation, more concurrent jobs and premium features.
Can I use GoEnhance videos commercially?
Only if you subscribe to Standard, Pro or Mega. GoEnhance's pricing FAQ states that free users and Basic subscribers are limited to personal use only.
How much does GoEnhance cost?
Plans start at $9.99/month (Basic), billed monthly or yearly; a one-time pack of 500 tokens costs $10 and never expires. Per-plan prices beyond the entry tier are shown in the app and as images on the pricing page — check your account for the current table.
What is Relax Mode?
A token-free generation mode for subscribers of Standard, Pro and Mega: unlimited creations each month on supported features, queued behind paid work, so speed is slower. Fast Mode spends tokens for immediate GPU access.
Does GoEnhance refund subscriptions?
No. Its published policy declines refunds because of the GPU cost of generation, and says the right to a refund is waived at sign-up. Test the free tokens thoroughly before subscribing.
GoEnhance or Kaiber?
