Our verdict
Best for creators and marketers who want one prompt to become a finished multi-scene video — CrePal directs several leading models for you instead of making you subscribe to each one.

What CrePal really costs
Our listing records CrePal's pricing as Free plan available; paid plan prices are shown on its pricing page (freemium pricing).
What you actually pay depends on the plan you pick, how much you create, and — on tools that meter usage — how many attempts you discard along the way. A cheap entry plan that meters every generation can cost more in a heavy month than a flat subscription.
We do not publish a per-minute cost estimate for CrePal: we only publish per-unit figures derived from official pricing pages, and CrePal is not one of the tools our calculator models numerically yet. Treat the entry price as a floor, not a monthly total.

What is CrePal?
CrePal, at crepal.ai, calls itself an AI Director Agent, and that framing is the honest way to understand it. Most tools in this catalogue are a single model with an interface: you prompt, it returns a clip of a few seconds. CrePal sits one layer above that. You describe the video you want in a chat, and its Director breaks the idea into scenes, writes a shot-by-shot script, chooses a model for each shot — a realistic model for live-action, a stylised one for animation, a dedicated lip-sync model for talking heads, in its own features-page example — then generates, assembles and finishes the video with subtitles, voiceover and a mixed soundtrack.
The model roster is the aggregator part of the pitch. CrePal's features page says it currently coordinates Runway, Kling, Veo, Hailuo, PixVerse, Vidu, Recraft, Suno and OpenAI's image and video models, and its homepage FAQ adds Pika Labs and Seedance to that list. The point of the roster is not choice for its own sake: the agent routes each part of a script to the model it judges best for that shot type, so a single video can mix generators without you holding five subscriptions. CrePal also stresses what single-clip tools usually cannot do — keeping characters, faces, outfits, visual style, colour tone and pacing consistent across a full multi-scene video. Around the core agent sit Mini Apps for repeatable jobs (AI stories, AI music videos, lip sync, ad videos, explainers and PDF-to-video) and viral-style templates for TikTok and YouTube.
How CrePal works
- 1Sign up free and tell the agent your idea: type a concept, paste a script, upload a PDF, or describe the ad you want — the agent asks clarifying questions if it needs more detail.
- 2Watch the plan take shape: the AI Director breaks your idea into scenes, writes the shot-by-shot script and selects a best-fit model per shot, and you see this plan before generation starts.
- 3Choose your mode: AI Story Mode hands the whole process to the agent, while Director Mode adds shot-by-shot editing, per-scene model overrides and direct control of camera motion, pacing and aspect ratio.
- 4Review scenes as they generate in real time and redirect in plain language — "make the lighting warmer", "replace this scene", "shorten the intro" — instead of touching a timeline.
- 5Let the agent finish the assembly: synced subtitles, voiceover and soundtrack are added as part of the export, not as separate tools.
- 6Export the HD video file. Watermark-free export is a paid-plan feature, so check which side of that line your plan is on before publishing client work.
Core features
AI Director planning
Your idea becomes a production plan before anything is generated: scenes, a shot-by-shot script and a model choice per shot, shown to you up front. This is the feature that separates CrePal from a prompt box — you approve a plan, not just a prompt.
Multi-model orchestration
The features page lists Runway, Kling, Veo, Hailuo, PixVerse, Vidu, Recraft, Suno and OpenAI's models, and describes routing each part of a script to whichever model produces the best result for that shot type. You describe an outcome; you do not pick a model.
AI Story Mode and Director Mode
Story Mode is the hands-off path for beginners: describe it once and the agent handles script, planning, generation and editing. Director Mode keeps the same engine but adds shot-level editing, model overrides and parameter control for creators who know what they want.
Character and style consistency
CrePal's FAQ states it keeps characters, faces, outfits, visual style, colour tone and pacing consistent throughout a full video — the specific weakness of stitching together clips from separate generators yourself.
Conversational editing with real-time preview
You watch the agent write, generate and assemble live, and revise scenes, pacing, tone and style by chatting. There is no timeline to learn, which is the appeal and the limit in one sentence.
Mini Apps and templates
Purpose-built flows skip the general planning step for common jobs: PDF or deck to narrated video, a talking-avatar spokesperson from a script, AI music videos, lip sync, ad videos and explainers, plus viral-style video templates for TikTok and YouTube.
Finished exports, not raw clips
Final output includes synced subtitles, voiceover and a mixed soundtrack, exported in HD and ready to publish — the assembly work that clip generators leave to a separate editor is part of this product.
The free plan — the full truth
CrePal has a real free plan, and its limits are stated plainly in the pricing page's own FAQ: the Free plan lets you create with standard models and limited credits, while upgrading to Plus or Pro unlocks premium models and a larger credit allowance. What we could not confirm is just as important: the numeric credit allowance for the free plan, and the exact prices and credit amounts of the paid tiers, sit in plan cards on the official pricing page that did not render as readable text when we checked in Nov 2026. Third-party directories report conflicting CrePal prices, so this review quotes none of them — check the figures inside the product before budgeting.
On output, the pricing page lists "Export without watermark" under "All paid plans include", which means watermark-free export is a paid feature and free-plan exports should be expected to carry a watermark — the page does not describe the free watermark directly, so treat that as the clear implication of its own plan comparison rather than a quoted rule. Commercial use is genuinely ambiguous on the page itself: its FAQ answers "Yes, on every plan including Free" when asked about commercial use, while the same page describes the Free plan as "intended for personal evaluation and learning" and headlines commercial licensing as a paid-plan benefit. Read the current Terms of Service before selling free-plan output; on a paid plan, commercial use is stated without that contradiction.
- • Free plan: standard models only, with limited credits (amount not readable on the pricing page when checked)
- • Premium models and larger credit allowances require Plus or Pro
- • Watermark-free export is listed only under paid-plan inclusions
- • Free users cannot buy credit top-ups — paid members can; free users can earn credits via invites (up to 5)
- • Commercial use of free output is stated inconsistently on the pricing page — FAQ says yes, the plan description says personal evaluation
CrePal pricing
We could not verify plan prices from an official source this session: crepal.ai/pricing was read in Nov 2026 and confirms the structure — a Free plan, paid tiers named Plus and Pro in its FAQ, a Max tier (the only one with one-on-one support), a Team offer, monthly and yearly billing ("UP TO 40% OFF" yearly on the homepage; the pricing FAQ says annual billing saves 17%), credits that never expire during an active subscription, and failed-generation credit refunds — but the price and credit figures themselves are rendered in plan cards that did not appear as readable text. Third-party directories disagree with each other on CrePal's prices, so no figures are quoted here rather than borrowing unverified numbers.
Pros
- + A complete multi-scene video from one prompt — script, scenes, soundtrack and edit included
- + Aggregates 10+ leading image, video, voice and music models under one account
- + Character and style consistency is a stated design goal across the whole video
- + Two honest modes: fully hands-off Story Mode, or Director Mode with per-scene overrides
- + Failed generations caused by system errors are refunded in credits, per the pricing page
- + Credits never expire during an active subscription, per the pricing page
Cons
- − Plan prices and credit amounts were not verifiable from the official pricing page when checked
- − Credit consumption varies by generation mode, duration, resolution and model — cost per finished video is unpredictable
- − No timeline editor: creators who cut frame-by-frame will hit the ceiling of chat-based editing
- − The pricing page contradicts itself on free-plan commercial use — read the terms before relying on it
- − Add-on credit packs are members-only, so a free user who runs out mid-project must upgrade
Best for
- ✓ Creators and marketers producing complete short videos without editing skills
- ✓ Teams that would otherwise juggle separate Runway, Veo and Kling subscriptions
- ✓ Faceless and story-style channels that need consistent characters across scenes
- ✓ Businesses turning PDFs, decks and product ideas into explainer and ad videos
Not ideal for
- ✕ Editors who need frame-level timeline control over every cut
- ✕ Buyers who require a published, verifiable price list before trying a tool
- ✕ Anyone who wants one specific model's raw output with no orchestration layer in between
CrePal alternatives
See all alternatives →CrePal's closest neighbours in our catalogue are the other aggregators. Pollo AI is the direct comparison: it also bundles many leading video models into one credit balance, but it is organised around picking and running models yourself rather than an agent that plans the whole video. Fal.ai is the developer end of the same idea — model access by API, priced per generation, better when video generation is a feature inside your own product. Krea suits creators who want multiple image and video models in a more hands-on creative suite, and Leonardo AI is worth a look if your work starts from generated imagery that then moves. Pick CrePal when the plan and the assembly are what you want automated; pick the others when choosing the model yourself is the point.
Luma Dream Machine
Luma's Dream Machine generates smooth, cinematic clips from text and images and is known for natural camera movement. It also works as a creative workspace where multiple models can be used, making it a common choice for storytellers and advertisers testing concepts.
Seedance (ByteDance)
Seedance is ByteDance's video generation model family, available through platforms such as Dreamina and various aggregators. It is recognised for fluid motion, multi-shot storytelling from a single prompt and strong prompt following at an efficient generation speed.
Krea
Krea is a creative platform that gives subscribers access to a rotating set of leading third-party image and video models in one interface, plus its own enhancement tools. Designers use it to test models side by side without separate subscriptions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is CrePal free?
Yes. The official pricing page FAQ states the Free plan lets you create with standard models and limited credits. Premium models, larger allowances and watermark-free export are paid-plan features on Plus and Pro.
How much does CrePal cost?
We cannot give a verified figure. The official pricing page confirms Free, Plus, Pro and Max tiers with monthly and yearly billing, but its price and credit figures did not render as readable text when we checked in Nov 2026, and third-party directories report conflicting prices. Check the current figures inside the product before budgeting.
Which AI models does CrePal use?
Its features page lists Runway, Kling, Veo, Hailuo, PixVerse, Vidu, Recraft, Suno and OpenAI's image/video models, and its homepage FAQ also names Pika Labs and Seedance. The agent selects a model per shot rather than running everything through one generator.
Can CrePal make a full video from one sentence?
Yes — that is its stated core workflow. Per its FAQ, a single sentence can be expanded into a script, storyboard, scenes, transitions, music and a final multi-scene video, with character and style consistency maintained across it.
Does CrePal add a watermark on the free plan?
The pricing page lists "Export without watermark" only under what all paid plans include, so free-plan exports should be expected to carry a watermark. The page does not describe the free watermark in its own words, and we flag that as an implication of its plan comparison, not a quoted rule.
Can I use CrePal videos commercially?
On paid plans, yes — the pricing page states all paid subscriptions include commercial usage rights for uses such as marketing, advertising, client work and YouTube. For the free plan the page contradicts itself (its FAQ says yes on every plan; its plan description calls free "personal evaluation"), so read the current Terms of Service before selling free-plan output.
